The feelings app for kids aged 2 to 12
Sleep gently,
feel strong.
A meltdown at the supermarket. Fear of the dark bedroom. Tears that can't find words. Nimola is the loving audio app that's there for your child exactly when things get hard, so the toughest part of the day can become your loveliest again.

Do you know these moments?
Whenever things get hard,
Nimola is there.

“NO!” The ground is shaking, everything is too much, nothing works anymore.
„Breathe the anger volcano“ SOS · 3 min
A warm voice breathes along with your child until the volcano can go back to sleep. Not against the anger, but with it.

The tension sits in the whole little body and finds no way out.
„Lemon Squeeze“ SOS · 2 min
Squeeze the lemon, let go, giggle. Tension out, calm in, playfully, almost in passing.

Sometimes the world is simply too big and the tears just won't stop.
„Tear Comforter“ SOS · 4 min
A voice that doesn't make it go away, but stays. Until it's allowed to feel better on its own.
For every big feeling there's an SOS moment: short, loving and there in an instant. One tap, and a warm voice helps you find calm together.

And when the day comes to an end
Falling asleep without a power struggle
Sleep stories like “The Dream Seamstress” or “Finn the Fox finds his resting place” carry your child into the same safe harbour evening after evening. The sleep timer says goodnight all by itself, ever so quietly.
- Stories in three age levels, from around 3 to 15 minutes
- 19 soundscapes: rain, ocean waves, forest night
- Sleep timer with a gentle fade-out instead of a hard stop
🎵 Does your child love rain?
Lay a soundscape of your choice under every story. The sounds are deliberately kept in deep, calming frequency ranges and help your child fall asleep, subtly in the background, never intrusive.
With elements of mindfulness, breathing exercises and autogenic training.
So much more than a bedtime app
From the morning ritual to the goodnight story
Over 120 stories, exercises and soundscapes accompany you through the whole day, from waking up through the afternoon storm to the very last yawn.
- Sleep stories
- Meditations
- Mindfulness
- Soundscapes
- Affirmations
- Morning rituals
- SOS help

Every exercise lovingly illustrated and narrated, like a picture book for the ears.

May I introduce?
This is Nimola.
Nimola is a little dream creature with cream-white fluffy fur. During the day it dozes in its golden moon hammock, but the moment a child somewhere has big feelings, it's wide awake. Then it comes floating in quietly, bringing a story, a breathing exercise or a piece of night-sound, and stays until everything is alright again.
Its best friend is a little owl who watches over the stories at night. In the app, Nimola greets your child every evening, like a cuddly toy that can speak.
A look inside the app
So simple your child can start it alone
Each category briefly explains what's going on in your child's mind right now and how best to be there for them. For children's eyes, it all stays a picture book.

From the house of Gefühlsförderung
Made by a childhood educator, not a corporation
Behind Nimola stands Ewelina Gawlik, childhood educator and mother, founder of Gefühlsförderung: the home of a children's book, two emotion memory games and many parenting guides all about big feelings.
Nimola brings this work to where you need it most: into the stormy moments and into the evening ritual.

Frequently asked
Everything parents want to know
What age is Nimola suitable for?
For children aged 2 to 12. You set the age level once (Mini, Midi or Maxi) and all content adapts: length, language and topics grow with your child.
What does Nimola cost?
Nimola is free to download, with freely usable content in every category. The full catalogue is available in the Premium subscription, cancellable anytime directly in the store. You'll see prices, term and any trial period before purchase in the App Store or on Google Play.
Does Nimola work for siblings too?
Yes. One parent account is enough for the whole family: you switch the age level anytime at the top of the home screen, for example from Mini for your little one to Maxi for your older child. Each level has its own completely separate content.
Does Nimola replace therapy or counselling?
No. Nimola is a relaxation and mindfulness app and explicitly not a therapy, medical or health app. If your child has persistent sleep problems or emotional distress, please turn to a professional, such as your paediatric practice or a family counselling centre.
Does Nimola collect data about my child?
No, and that's a principle: no name, no date of birth, no photos. The account belongs to you as the parent. Nimola shows no ads and contains no ad tracking. The servers are located in Germany.
What are the soundscapes beneath the stories?
In Nimola you can lay a soundscape under any story: rain, ocean waves, forest night and 16 more. The sounds are deliberately kept in deep, calming frequency ranges and help your child wind down and fall asleep. Many families also listen to them on their own, looping through the whole night.
Does Nimola work offline too?
Yes. Stories and exercises can be downloaded and then work without internet too, in the car, on holiday or in airplane mode at night. Download once, always with you.
